I've been attending AASL this week. I always feel a conference is a success if I have at least one good idea that I can take home with me. I've got so many ideas that I consider this a success, and I've still got a full day ahead tomorrow. The power of networking with school library folks from around the U.S. provides a broader perspective. The shocked expressions when I share my almost 3K students and no additional help has been gratifying. It's amazing what great CA folks are here and sharing given our struggles. The power of our people are amazing.
